![]() Then really I just kept my troops near the walls and started stockpiling supplies, built a castle right on the hill between the walls and not much has been able to mess with me. The nice thing about leaving a lot of the orange walls is that the enemies will only want to attack the blue walls. Be careful because if you leave either orange gate up, the enemies can walk through. so then I sent a few troops and a cannon to destroy burgundy's town center and once I got the supplies the first thing I did was have my villagers build walls where I had destroyed them. Once I killed all the villagers they surrendered. I kept the rest of my troops near the cannons on defense mode so they took out anyone who got near. I started with the left most gate and had the cannons take out the big gate, then the town center, then the castle. I went and took out Burgundy by destroying the castle/watchtowers but not town center, then went destroyed their northern watchtower and went out that way, (be sure to save after) and then went north and took out Shrewsbury. So I just tried again and it's going waaaay better and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to beat it. ![]() Guard your bombard cannons and trade cart from both sides because Shrewsbury will send men too.īy now the enemy is actively trying to kill you but also destroying your buildings to the east, but you don't care any more, because you've got the numbers on your side and a mission to accomplish.Īnother option would be to charge with Paladins on Castillon's gates, and sneak the trade cart and a few military units through a transport ship to the southwest end and make a quick dash, but I don't think you want that. Keep scouting this portion of the map to make sure you're aware of it.ĭelete all your villagers, make 70-80 Paladins, 20 Bombard cannons, and move slowly, destroying everything in your path towards Castillon. Play a game of attrition, collecting all the wood you can, either build a dock or mills along the stream to fish all the food, and gather immense amounts of resources, all while defending your shallowīy this time, Shrewsbury would've chopped down the forest to the north, making it easy for attackers to come through the Trade Cart End. Guard the burgundian end with your entire army and your economy lives pretty much unscathed behind you.The only points of access to your portion of the map are two shallows: one which Guy Josselyne crossed at the start and is protected to the north by forests ("Trade Cart End"), and the second heading west ("Burgundian End"). ![]() Build more town centres south east near the gold and the wood.Trade stone and get a town centre and houses. ![]()
